A NEW TYPE OF LAW PRACTICE

Photo of Conley Salyer, Attorney

MISSION STATEMENT

My mission is to serve the legal needs of U.S. nonprofit organizations, both domestically and abroad, by combining a management approach for continuous improvement (Baldrige-based) with the legal requirements needed for the client organization’s successful development and delivery of its own vision, mission, and goals.

I also work to support organizations' grants application and management systems by interpreting the complex of Federal laws, regulations, grant solicitations, and grant award documents that apply to every opportunity.

Limiting this law practice to nonprofit organizations, including private foundations, is a new twist to the practice of business law. Concentrating in one area of law enables me to deliver services that are up-to-date and tailor-made for the needs of nonprofits.

The purpose of this site is to give you legal information.

However, no attorney-client relationship is created by your use of this site or any of its features, including the "contact us" section. Because legal advice must be tailored to the specific circumstances of each case, and because laws are constantly changing, you should seek the assistance of competent legal counsel for specific legal advice.

Before Conley Salyer provides legal services, he enters into a written legal services agreement with the client describing what services are to be provided. No services are provided without such a legal services agreement.

Attorney Salyer holds the J.D. degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law, Northern Kentucky University, and the LL.M. degree (taxation) from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law, College of William and Mary. Attorney Salyer also has a broad employment background in nonprofit and state agency management and is an alumnus Examiner, Baldrige Performance Excellence Program. Initial client one-hour consultations are free of charge.
